Just about the coolest mid century modern record player you'll ever find! This is a rare and PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED RCA Victor Stereo Orthophonic High Fideliy record player, Model VL-32, in fantastic working condition!

This beautiful machine has been fully rebuilt and restored by professional electronics repairmen here in Kansas City at The Electronic Center. Repairs include: new tubes, new cartridges and capacitors, a rebuilt 33rmp idler, a refurbished turntable mechanism, and all-new rubber parts. The entire record player has been leaned and lubricated. It is in good working condition. The sound is quite good, warm and full. I do have to caution that this is not Bose level sound - if you want fantastic sound, you will need additional speakers, but this is better than any new Crosley tabletop record player you can buy on the market today.

Cosmetically, the record player is in good condition though there are flaws to note. Some of the veneer, particularly on the back corners, has peeled off. This is clearly shown in photos 9 and 10. Some of the gloss is worn thin on the front of the machine. There is some crazing on the top of the machine (pic 4) as well. None of the remaining veneer is in danger of peeling off as I have cleaned and oiled the exterior. A new owner if desired can use some rub in stain to get the areas of raw wood to more closely match the finish - I wanted to leave that option open to the new owner rather than make that decision myself. As it is, I find it beautiful and in need of nothing, but what you want to do is up to you!

This machine will be well-packed and insulated for the long haul. Its size and weight are cause for the higher shipping costs.
